My fitness journey started in: February 2010

I have slowly lost the weight I no longer want over this past year and a half. As of  October 2011 , I am only 4 lbs to my goal weight! I feel now that I would like to make my goal weight 125lbs! I feel great!

I felt it was time for me to begin a fitness weight loss program because: I needed to get my extra baby weight off, and get fit and healthy again. I gave up on exercise and a healthy lifestyle in the past 2 years, it was time to get back to a healthier me.

My personal trainer is: Leah Hemstreet

The things that I have learned from my personal trainer is: to love myself again, and look after my body again. Also, to get myself back to clean eating, smaller portions, and eating more frequently.

One challenging life experience I would like to share is: to quiting smoking
Favorite food: homemade pizza, salads, seafood, sushi, homemade soups
Favorite cheat food: homemade pizza
Most challenging exercise: lunges

Health Tip: Scheduling your workouts as appointments, so even if you don’t want to go you have a obligation to yourself to go. Leah’s bodysculpting classes have been a very big help for me to get back into fitness, and have fun doing it. As far as foods, soups are a great way to fill up, and if made right are very healthy. Also, if you are out and about, miso soup, and brown rice sushi make a great healthy fast food. I also carry a container of goji berries, walnuts, and almonds in my truck so I don’t go into crazy hunger mode.

Weekly exercise plan: workout with weights/bodysculpting 3 days a week, and try to walk 2 days a week 4 miles
Daily eating plan
Breakfast: greens drink, 1 egg, 1 slice of spelt bread.
Snack: fruit, nuts
Lunch: 1/2 turkey sandwich, or soup
Snack: popcorn, or nuts
Dinner: salad, chicken breast
One thing that I will do for myself when I reach my goal weight: is to go shopping! Buy myself something from Lululemon, and a new bathing suit for my holidays
Maybe treat myself to a spa treatment, this is also important to do throughout my journey, little treats that are relaxing and don’t involve food. I also get massages a few times a month for treats if I can.
